Rental reports have highlighted the slowdown in inflation in Dublin. This has been driven largely by fresh rental supply. These Multi-Rental units are located primarily on the outskirts of Dublin City and have added thousands of homes to the Dublin rental supply.

There were almost 1,340 homes available to rent in Dublin on August 1st 2024, up 4% on the same date a year previously - but still well below the 2015-2019 average of almost 1,800. Availability in Dublin has increased with new construction being completed; however, rental prices remain high.
