Raleigh market rental trends report

Written by Relocity | April 17, 2025

Over the past six months, Raleigh has experienced a decline in rental prices, with the median rent decreasing by approximately 5.6% year-over-year as of September 2024. This reduction is primarily due to a significant increase in apartment construction, introducing over 9,000 new units to the market by the end of 2024, which has alleviated demand pressures. As of March 2025, the median rent in Raleigh stands at $1,870.
