Cars and Los Angeles go together like Disney and Mickey Mouse (another LA institution), so it's no wonder that the LA Auto Show is one of the hottest events to grace downtown LA each year, returning November 18-27 at the LA Convention Center. Whether you want to shop for your next ride, or be up to date on the latest technology, the LA Auto Show has something for everybody.
Among the many activities, check out American and world premiers from manufacturers like Jeep, Porsche, Volkswagen and more. Outside the L.A. Convention Center, attendees can test drive nearly 100 of the latest models, something no other other auto show can offer, especially in November.
In addition, one of the largest collections of customized rides returns in 2016. “The Garage” exhibit, where car culture lives, is highlighted by DUB Magazine, Al & Eds, Yamaha and many others. Have your cameras ready and make sure to visit it inside Kentia Hall (from the South Hall Lobby, take the escalators down). Our friends at Galpin Motors are also back with unique rides, live DJs and merchandise. Galpin’s Hall of customs is located in Concourse Hall (between West and South Halls).
While the adults shop, there is plenty for the kids to experience. From video games, virtual reality demos and kids’ play zones, there is plenty to keep them entertained. Tickets for children ages 6-12 are $5 and children under 6 are free with a paying adult.
Finally, the way we get around is changing. In 2016, the LAAS is introducing “GO”, the newest destination, featuring the latest technology devices that move us and complement our vehicles. Whether it’s electric scooters, bikes or mobility apps, come test ride and explore the latest innovators in the mobility industry. Find “GO” in the South Hall Atrium.
