Taruna Ahuja

Taruna grew up in New Delhi, India. Her own experience moving across the world, from India to United States, and within the US from Washington D.C. to Hawaii, and then to Austin, made her very well versed with the challenges of reacquainting oneself quickly to a new place. Taruna has extensive work experience as a relocation consultant, event planner, communications professional and small business owner. Prior to Relocity, she worked with an iconic Austin restaurant for many years, helping people celebrate life’s big and small moments and creating meaningful connections within the Austin community. She has also led corporate communications for a management consulting firm in New Delhi, India. More recently, she owned a catering business and hosted immersive cooking classes, sharing her love of food and Austin – this eclectic, eccentric, growing city! Taruna has lived in Austin for 10 years and loves to explore the local spots, the little towns around Austin and hiking trails. She stays abreast of the real estate market and has strong insights into the public/private schools in the area.

As a mom to two children, she knows first-hand the physical and emotional demands of relocating, finding a new home, researching schools and trying to learn the ins and outs of a new city. Her strong project management skills, ingenuity in finding solutions to problems and commitment to helping others makes her an asset as a relocation consultant with Relocity.
